As a valued client of 3R Insurance, we're committed to helping you leverage your insurance effectively and steer clear of zero payout claims on your insurance history. Such claims can impact your rates and eligibility. As we're currently in the hail season (May to October), with the most damaging storms typically occurring in May and June, we'd like to offer some guidance.

If a hail storm passes through your area, your first step should be to check your roof for damage before filing a claim. We recommend the following trusted roofing companies for a professional assessment:

Core Roofing

WestPro Roofing

Excel Roofing

When reaching out to these roofers, kindly provide the following information:

- Your Name

- Property Address

- Phone Number

- Email Address

- Referred by: 3R Insurance Agency

- Roof Type: Flat or Steep?

- Are there any Active Leaks?

These reputable roofers should provide an inspection at no cost to you, and won't ask you to sign anything for this service. Be wary of door-to-door roofers after a storm, especially if they insist that you sign a document. Such documents are often contracts giving them permission to file a claim and perform repairs on your roof.

Once you ascertain that your roof needs replacement, contact your insurance company to file a claim. They will assign an adjuster to evaluate whether the damage is covered under your policy. We recommend having your roofer meet with the adjuster to ensure all damage is accurately documented. The adjuster will provide you with claim documents, along with the Actual Cash Value (ACV) of your roof. With these documents in hand, you can schedule the necessary repairs.

After the work is complete, submit the final invoice from your roofer to the adjuster. The adjuster will then issue a check for the roof replacement cost.

Remember, we're here to help you navigate this process and ensure you get the coverage you're entitled to. Please feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns.
